Job summary

Booker is looking for a local delivery driver to join our team in the Gloucester area. You will drive locally, build relationships with regular customers and help ensure deliveries arrive on time with great service.

You’ll be part of a seven-day operation; weekend shifts may be required. Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude are essential, with the opportunity to receive fully funded CPC training hours.

Qualifications

• CatC / 18T Licence / Class 2
• Previous experience of driving (at least two years)
• Previous delivery driving experience preferred
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude
• Good level of literacy and numeracy

Responsibilities

• Deliver local orders to customers and ensure on-time deliveries
• Load stock into the vehicle at the branch and unload at customer premises
• Complete paperwork accurately and maintain accurate delivery records
