Do you have experience of working with people with learning disabilities? Do you want to work for a charity that aims to support them to be heard?

We are looking for a Local Citizens Panel Development Worker (16 hours per week) to join our team in the Scottish Borders. The salary is £23,569 - £25,825 pro-rata and we offer generous benefits.

You will be supporting people with learning disabilities and their unpaid carers to be actively involved in improving local health and social care services. You will be responsible for providing support to members of five Local Citizens Panels (LCPs) across the Scottish Borders, representing the interests of people with a learning disability and their carers.

There will be regular travel throughout the Borders. You may be required to work occasional evenings and weekends.

This job is fixed term for 18 months, but there may be potential to extend it.
