Job Description:

Kingdom Local Authority Support (Kingdom) is currently recruiting an Environmental Enforcement Administrator in our Sidcup Office, DA14 area.

Working for Kingdom Local Authority Support, you will gain knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Environmental Protection Act 1990, Anti-Social Behaviour Crime and Policing Act 2014, London Local Authorities Act 1990, and other applicable laws used by our teams at the Council.

You will implement robust back-office administration and support for the Local Authority Support (LAS) division and its management team.

Hours: On average 37.5 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, 09:00am - 17:00pm.

Responsibilities:

Below is not an exhaustive list; other reasonable and fair tasks relevant to the role may be added:

  • Follow best-in-class administration procedures, meeting KPIs.
  • Deal with representations from external stakeholders, including clients and the public, regarding the service.
  • Work closely with customer service and operations teams regarding complaints.
  • Produce and quality assure prosecution files.
  • Quality assure Fixed Penalty Notices.
  • Assist and support administration on other sites as required.
  • Support and action queries/issues raised by management and Team Leaders.
  • Meet company expectations and maintain standards.
  • Comply with Data Protection policies and processes related to site administration.

Skill requirements:

  • Proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Hardworking, disciplined, adaptable, with a 'can do' attitude and strategic outlook.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills at various business levels.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Proactive learner willing to acquire new skills and responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Environmental Protection Act 1990, Anti-Social Behaviour Crime and Policing Act 2014, London Local Authorities Act 1990, and other applicable laws.

Experience:

  • 1 year customer service and administration experience is preferable.
