Job summary

DPD UK is seeking a reliable and tech-savvy 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team on a designated local route. You’ll be responsible for 40–50 daily stops, ensuring safe, on-time deliveries with a customer‑facing approach.

You’ll use Saturn handheld devices, load and unload parcels with proper gear, and uphold our sustainable delivery standards while providing excellent service to the community.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation are required.
• Ideally 6 months recent driving experience with 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Physically active and comfortable with lifting as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Drive and manage a local route with ~40–50 stops daily.
• Load and unload parcels using appropriate equipment.
• Use Saturn handheld devices to track deliveries and stay on schedule.
• Provide excellent customer service and be the friendly face of the delivery team.
