Job summary

Funding Circle in London is seeking an administrator to review and process loan applications, performing KYC checks and supporting fast, efficient funding for UK small businesses. You will use third-party systems to collect information, perform QA, and collaborate with AML and Fraud teams.

We expect at least 6 months in a high-volume admin role, strong attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months experience in a high volume operations or administrative role.
• Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail, self-motivation, strong organisational skills and ability to follow procedures.
• Ability to complete repetitive tasks.
• Willingness to learn and adapt with evolving policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with financial documents, bank statements and identifications is nice-to-have.
• Proactively identify ways to use Generative AI to streamline daily tasks and improve productivity.
• Confident using approved AI tools safely to enhance output.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing financial accounts, bank statements and risk reports to process loan applications.
• Completing know your customer (KYC) checks during borrower onboarding and referring cases to AML/Fraud teams.
• Use third party systems to collect information on the applicant and their business.
• Perform rigorous quality assurance: reconcile loan documents and internal system data for completeness and accuracy.
• Working in a collaborative team environment.
• Proactively problem solving and mitigating risks, issues or control weaknesses in day-to-day work.

The role

London (Hybrid) | 3 days in the office | Competitive Salary + Benefits

This is a busy admin role where you will be reviewing and processing loan applications to provide fast, efficient funding to small businesses in the UK.

• Reviewing financial accounts, bank statements and risk reports to process loan applications.
• Completing know your customer (KYC) checks during the borrowers on-boarding journey and referring cases to our AML and Fraud teams where required.
• Use third party systems to collect information on the applicant and their business.
• Perform rigorous quality assurance: Reconcile loan documents and internal system data for completeness and accuracy.
• Working in a collaborative team environment.
• Proactively problem solving, identifying and confidently mitigating any risks, issues or control weaknesses that arise in your day-to-day.
