Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Loan Closer in loan operations, loan agency, or corporate banking.
  • Solid understanding of financial instruments and the full loan lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with Bilateral and Syndicated Loan structures.
  • Confident working with legal documentation and external counsel.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage loan closing processes - prepare, review and finalize loan documentation.
  • Coordinate closely with borrowers, lenders, and legal counsel throughout transactions.
  • Review loan agreements and ensure accurate system setup and ongoing compliance.
  • Maintain and monitor loan facilities, including drawdowns, interest, fees, and repayments.
  • Support the setup of loan facilities in internal systems and perform ongoing updates.
  • Prepare IPD and waterfall calculations throughout the life of transactions.
  • Validate and confirm loan-related activity including rollovers, coupons, IPDs, etc.
  • Handle loan settlements, reconciliations, and manage multi-jurisdictional bank accounts.
  • Produce regular reporting on loan balances, interest rates, fees, and upcoming events.
  • Assist with client onboarding and due diligence (KYC/AML).

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Loan Closer to join our Global Funds and Capital Markets team. Reporting to the Loan Agency Manager, you’ll play a key role in managing and finalising complex loan transactions across a growing and diverse portfolio, including real estate, auto loans, RMBS, CMBS, CDOs, ABS, and trade receivables.

This is a dynamic role involving legal documentation review, transaction management, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You’ll work closely with investment banks, law firms, auditors, and private equity firms - making it a great opportunity to grow your network and further your career in structured finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage loan closing processes - prepare, review and finalise loan documentation.

Your profile

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Loan Closer in loan operations, loan agency, or corporate banking.
  • Solid understanding of financial instruments and the full loan lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with Bilateral and Syndicated Loan structures.
  • Experience with loan platforms such as WSO is a plus.
  • Confident working with legal documentation and external counsel.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and numerical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and modern banking systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-pressure environment.
  • A positive, proactive mindset with strong attention to detail.
