Job description

• Role: Loading Shovel Operator
• Location: Holcim UK Limited, Bardon Hill Quarry, Bardon Road, Coalville, LE67 1TL
• Pay: £17.50ph PAYE + OT at x1.5 after 48 hours
• Hours: Monday - Friday, 6am to 6pm (60 hours per week, OT available after 48 hours)
• Contract: Temp to Perm (3-6 months initially, with potential for a permanent role)
• Start: ASAP (Once clearing the interview and onboarding checks)

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating loading shovel machinery safely and efficiently
• Handling materials and ensuring timely delivery to designated areas
• Conducting routine checks on equipment and reporting any issues
• Adhering to strict health and safety procedures

Essential Requirements:

• Valid Loading Shovel licence
• Experience operating a loading shovel in an industrial setting
• Familiarity with loader joystick operation
• Valid UK driving licence and own transport
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
