Job summary

Morson Group in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Loading Shovel Operator for the Black Cat Project in St Neots to safely and efficiently operate the loading shovel around the busy mixing plant. You will load and move aggregates, feed the mixing plant, perform daily plant checks, and work with site supervisors to maintain production.

Required licences include a Loading Shovel CPCS or equivalent, and MP Connect Card (can be sourced).

Qualifications

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Loading Shovel Operator for work on our scheme at the Black Cat Project, St Neots. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating the loading shovel to support ongoing mixing plant production and site operations.

• Operate the loading shovel safely and efficiently around the busy mixing plant
• Load and move aggregates and materials as required
• Feed the mixing plant and maintain a consistent supply of materials
• Carry out daily plant checks and report any maintenance or safety issues
• Assist with general duties around the mixing plant, including cleaning the mixer
• Work closely with site supervisors and other plant operatives to maintain efficient production

Requirements

• Previous experience working around a busy mixing plant
• Loading Shovel License (CPCS or equivalent)
• MP Connect Card (Can be sourced)

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 07:00-17:00 daily

Duration

• Potentially ongoing work from now through to May 2027
