Loading Shovel Driver & Counterbalance Truck Driver
Pay rate: £12.44/h
Location: Wembley, London
Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for a Loading Shovel Driver ideally with FLT Counterbalance ticket to join our successful client based in the Wembley, HA0 area. Our client is a leader in pelletising commercial and industrial waste for waste-to-energy facilities.
A current valid Loading Shovel and 360 excavator (wheeled) certificate along with previous experience is required. FLT Counterbalance licence is optional but holding both licences determines pay rate.
Pay rate: £12.44 per hour, weekly pay in arrears, every Friday
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 22:00- 07:00 am
Loading Shovel - Duties & Responsibilities
The role involves operating Loading Shovel Truck & FLT to perform a various of task including tipping and loading of vehicle outside in all weather conditions. Drive loading shovel to transport materials within the facility & ensure the health & safety standards are met.
• Loading outgoing vehicles and separating waste
• Transporting material, feeding lines and hoppers with material for process
• Supporting general yard operations & co-operate with site management as required
• Emptying chutes and bunkers
Loading Shovel - Person Specification
• Valid Excavator Loading Shovel license
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
• Ability to adapt quickly to a fast paced, dynamic work environment
• Previous experience within a waste & recycling industrial environment would be an advantage
