Key Tasks and Duties:

• Work within the ethos and standards of the company
• Responsible for your own Health & Safety and that of your colleagues
• Communicate with the Despatch Office, shift leader, or coordinator about shortages or problems with loads
• Follow instructions in all areas
• Work with haulier drivers to sort and load trucks
• Ensure all data recorded is correct and up to date
• Ensure the correct product is loaded for the customer
• Assemble and wrap products according to customer requirements
• Label and pack products to high quality standards
• Unload trailers, including pallets, plastic, plasterboard, and general deliveries
• Split pallets of product and relabel as required, ensuring correct labeling for dispatch
• Operate forklift in designated areas to keep the line running and vehicles loaded to meet customer requirements
• Drive shunter to move trailers around the yard and in/out of loading bays
• Unload returns and record them properly
• Assist with month-end stock takes when required
• Maintain good housekeeping standards in all areas
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of all products
• Dispose of waste properly
• Complete all required training to perform your role effectively
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations
• Follow quality guidelines in all areas
• Work flexibly to meet deadlines
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management
