Key Tasks and Duties:

• Work within the ethos and standards of the company
• Responsible for your own Health & Safety and that of your colleagues
• Communicate with the Despatch Office, shift leader or coordinator regarding shortages or problems with loads
• Follow instructions in all areas
• Work with haulier drivers to sort and load trucks
• Ensure all data recorded is accurate and up to date
• Ensure the correct product is loaded for the customer
• Assemble and wrap products to customer specifications
• Label and pack products to a high standard
• Unload trailers, including pallets, plastic, plasterboard, and general deliveries
• Split pallets and relabel as needed, ensuring correct labelling for dispatch
• Operate forklift in designated areas to keep the line running and ensure vehicles are loaded properly
• Drive shunter to move trailers around the yard and loading bays
• Unload and record returns correctly
• Assist with month-end stock take when required
• Maintain good housekeeping standards
• Keep up-to-date with product knowledge
• Dispose of waste appropriately
• Complete all required training to perform your role effectively
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations
• Follow quality guidelines in all tasks
• Work flexible hours to meet deadlines
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management
