Job summary

Buffalo Rock Company is seeking a Forklift Operator (Loading) for the Central Hub. The role involves loading routes accurately, operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts, and using RF scanners and a Warehouse Management System to record transactions.

The position supports cross-functional tasks and requires adherence to GMPs and safety standards. Based in the Birmingham area, the operator will manage loading documentation, ensure proper palletization, and maintain a safe, efficient work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year in a warehouse environment.
• At least 1 year of forklift operator experience.
• RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems experience preferred.
• Must read product packaging and communicate in English via radio.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts (stand-up and sit-down) safely according to SOPs.
• Load and unload trailers and inspect equipment.
• Enter transactions into the Warehouse Management System.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety; follow GMPs.
• Rotate stock and ensure proper product placement.
