Job summary

ISS Facilities Services is seeking a Loading Bay Co-Ordinator for our London site. The role focuses on the safe movement of vehicles and plant in a busy loading dock, maintaining site safety, and protecting workers and visitors.

The successful candidate will have Banksman or Traffic Marshal experience, communicate effectively with drivers and site staff, and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and site requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience as Banksman or Traffic Marshal or similar roles.
• Ability to communicate effectively with drivers and site personnel.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures and site requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct and control vehicle movements using approved hand signals.
• Ensure all vehicle movements are safe and follow site procedures.
• Maintain awareness to prevent collisions, injuries and damage.
• Ensure pedestrian safety by separating foot traffic from vehicle routes.
• Conduct visual checks of vehicles and equipment before movement; stop if unsafe.
• Book in vehicles and support site traffic management.
