Job summary

Dunbia operates at the South Petherwin site and is seeking an Early Morning Loading Bay operative for the loading of lorries. Training will be provided; no prior experience is required. PPE equipment will be supplied at no cost.

Shifts run from 03:00 to 06:00, including Saturdays, with lifting and carrying involved. Starting pay is £12.95 per hour, rising to £13.95 after a skills assessment. You will join a fast-paced team focused on safety and efficiency, contributing to department targets and

Overview

This is a great opportunity to join our team at Dunbia Jaspers at our South Petherwin site, working for an established company within food production in our Abattoir. Candidates need to be physically fit, enthusiastic and flexible to work in our fast paced and dynamic environment. Training will be provided so you do not need any previous experience. All PPE equipment will be supplied at no extra cost to you.

Early morning Loading Bay operative required for the loading of lorries. Will require 03.00am to 06.00am starts including Saturday mornings. Lifting and carrying will be required. Progression will include some butchery saw training.

£12.95 per hour, progressing to £13.95 when a skills assessment has been completed.

Responsibilities

• Follow and be aware of the departmental Standard Operating Procedures, training will be provided to ensure you are fully up to date with all the current SOPs.
• Maintain the fast-paced environment in line with production needs.
• Work with the manager and team to achieve the department targets.
• Promote and maintain Health, Safety and Hygiene standards in accordance with company rules and regulations.
