Job summary

Dunbia Group is seeking aLoading Bay Operative for our South Petherwin site. Training will be provided; no prior experience required. You will start early morning (03:00–06:00) with occasional Saturdays, lifting and carrying tasks, and progress to more duties as skills improve.

The role includes working in a fast-paced environment with PPE supplied and a focus on safety and teamwork. The position offers on-site work at our Abattoir site with ongoing development opportunities.

Job description

This is a great opportunity to join our team at Dunbia Jaspers at our South Petherwin site, working for an established company within food production in our Abattoir. Candidates need to be physically fit, enthusiastic and flexible to work in our fast paced and dynamic environment. Training will be provided so you do not need any previous experience. All PPE equipment will be supplied at no extra cost to you.

Early morning Loading Bay operative required for the loading of lorries. Will require 03.00am to 06.00am starts including Saturday mornings. Lifting and carrying will be required. Progression will include some butchery saw training.

£12.95 per hour, progressing to £13.95 when a skills assessment has been completed.

Responsibilities

• Follow and be aware of the departmental Standard Operating Procedures, training will be provided to ensure you are fully up to date with all the current SOPs .
• Maintain the fast-paced environment in line with production needs.
• Work with the manager and team to achieve the department targets.
• Promote and maintain Health, Safety and Hygiene standards in accordance with company rules and regulations.
