Loading Bay Manager Role

As the Loading Bay Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods and services in and out of our hotel. Your responsibilities include managing the loading bay area, coordinating deliveries, and supervising a team of loading bay assistants to maintain high service standards. This position is ideal for a motivated individual with strong organizational and leadership skills looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the daily operations of the loading bay, including scheduling deliveries, managing inventory, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
2. Supervise the loading bay team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
3. Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries for accuracy and quality, and ensure proper storage and distribution to relevant departments.
4. Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement to order necessary supplies timely.
5. Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking documentation, invoices, and receipts.
6. Coordinate with other hotel departments to facilitate smooth operations and resolve any issues.
7. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
8. Assist the Executive Chef and Finance Team in developing policies and initiatives to improve loading bay efficiency and productivity.
