Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd in Beeston, United Kingdom is seeking yard operatives for a large industrial laundry operation. You will move cages of clean items from the warehouse onto vehicles and transfer dirty items back into the production area.

There will be picking and packing, plus general warehouse and production support. Shifts run days Mon–Fri, 06:00–09:00 starts, about 9 hours per shift. Temp to perm available; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Must have warehouse background and worked in a similar position within the past year.
• Good reading and numeracy skills.

Responsibilities

• Move cages of clean items from the warehouse onto vehicles for transport.
• Take cages of dirty items from vehicles into the production area.
• Assist with picking and packing and general warehouse/production tasks.

Job Description

Our client is seeking yard operatives for their large industrial laundry operation.

You will be moving cages of clean items from the warehouse onto the vehicles for transport. You will also be taking cages of dirty items from the vehicles into the production area. There are elements of picking and packing as well as general warehouse and production work to assist around the business.

Successful applicants will:

• Be able to work quickly and efficiently
• Ideally have previous experience with caged goods
• A strong work mentality
• Happy to work both inside and outside

Duration: This position is ongoing with Temp 2 Perm available

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: The rate of pay for this role is £12.71, and you may accrue up to 28 days annual leave.We do not offer visa sponsorships.

Working Hours: You will be working days Monday to Friday, shifts start between 0600 and 0900, and you will work approximately 9 hours per shift.
