Join Our Team as a Full-Time Loader Operator in Surrey, BC!

Your Mission:

As our Loader Operator, you’ll load haulage vehicles, tunnels, storage bunkers, and processing equipment with loose waste. You’ll operate mobile equipment, maintain process equipment, and perform safety checks, ensuring a smooth and safe operational environment.

Here’s what an ordinary day of work might look like:

  • Operate all mobile equipment to maintain process equipment and facilities, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Load haulage vehicles, tunnels, storage bunkers, and processing equipment with loose waste, playing a pivotal role in our waste management team.
  • Perform cleaning and pre-use safety checks on plant items, promptly reporting any issues to maintain safety.
  • Be a proactive safety ambassador by reporting accidents, incidents, and near misses according to company procedures.
  • Create a safe work environment for our team, subcontractors, customers, and visitors by enforcing PPE, FRS, and RPE requirements.
  • Demonstrate commitment to health and safety by comprehending and implementing company requirements.
  • Engage in our team culture by attending daily and weekly operations and safety meetings and contributing insights and ideas.

This job is for you if you:

  • Hold a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in the heavy equipment operations field.
  • Have mechanical aptitude – it’s a strong fit, allowing you to complete daily inspections confidently.
  • Are resourceful and capable of working alone and collaboratively within a team.
  • Hold a valid Driver’s License – it is a requirement.

Compensation package:

  • Wage – 30.30 per hour
  • Graveyard shift premium – $2.00 per hour
  • Paid time off – sick and vacation

Work schedule: 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM Sunday to Thursday
