Loader / Waste Operative

Salary: £26,979.72, plus Veolia benefits and pension

Hours: Monday to Friday, Full time, 42.5 hours per week

Location: Veolia, Westbridge Depot 9-13 St James Mill Road Northampton NN5 5JW

What you'll be doing:

• Undertaking waste collections, emptying bins or collecting bags from premises in a professional and timely manner.
  
• Ensuring that any potential danger to yourself, other employees and the general public is minimised.
  
• Ensuring the road is left clean and tidy following collections, including bins placed back on the boundary and all spillages cleared.
  
• Acting as ambassadors on behalf of the company, ensuring that the client is treated respectfully and that all requirements are complied with where safe to do so
  

What we're looking for:

• Must have previous operational work experience
  
• Ability to communicate effectively within a team and with the public
  
• Work on your own initiative, as well as part of a team.
  
• Reliable, punctual and focused.
