We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Milton team in the position of Loader.

The position involves providing direction and control within a production environment manufacturing concrete building blocks for both commercial and domestic markets.

You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of plant and equipment, with training provided. Your focus will be on achieving high-quality standards and excellent customer service.

The role includes training in various production processes, primarily loading finished goods onto customer vehicles, removing stock from the factory, and maintaining yard and stocking areas using clamp trucks and other equipment, ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Your duties include but are not limited to:

Key accountabilities relating to Health & Safety:

• Maintain high standards of health and safety for yourself and others.
• Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.
• Report safety concerns immediately to your line manager.
• Follow risk assessments and safe systems of work for all tasks.
• Keep PPE in good condition.
• Maintain tools and equipment, report defects.
• Ensure guards are fitted and report defective equipment.
• Obtain permits for high-risk tasks.

Key accountabilities relating to Quality Systems:

• Complete process control sheets and report quality concerns.
• Adhere to quality requirements in the site’s quality system.
• Contribute to developing a sustainability culture.
