Job Summary

We're seeking a results-driven and technically savvy Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our load monitoring product lines. In this role, you'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue through strategic partnerships, market expansion, and sales of our load monitoring solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within key target industries. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, distributors, and partners.
  3. Understand client needs and propose tailored load monitoring solutions that deliver value and enhance safety and performance.
  4. Provide technical consultations and product demonstrations to potential clients and partners.
  5. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  6. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including engineering, marketing, and customer service, to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  7. Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
  8. Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and reports.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  2. Solid understanding of load measurement technologies and their applications.
  3. Strong technical aptitude and ability to communicate complex solutions clearly.
  4. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  5. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  6. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently and remotely.
  7. Willingness to travel as required.

To be part of our team, you will need:

  1. Knowledge of load monitoring equipment or a background in an engineering/technical company would be a distinct advantage.
  2. Previous experience in Offshore Wind, Marine and/or Renewables, Oil & Gas would be an advantage.
  3. Have the right attitude, aptitude and appetite for what we do.
  4. Excel in relationship building, influencing and negotiating, owing to your strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Possess highly effective sales, communication and presentation skills.
  6. Advanced user of MS office programmes.
  7. An interest in online lead generation.
  8. Ability to drive sales through digital marketing strategies.
  9. Excellent influential communication skills: Interpersonal, presentation and written.
  10. Proven ability to negotiate effectively and close deals efficiently.
