European Tech Recruit is seeking a proactive Compiler Engineer to join its compiler and runtime libraries team, collaborating with colleagues across the UK and international research hubs.

You will extend LLVM-based compilers to support emerging hardware and instruction set features, architect and implement advanced optimisation passes for next‑gen xPU architectures, and explore AI/ML techniques to drive intelligent auto‑tuning.

Qualifications

• Strong background in compiler construction and code generation.
• Proficiency in C and C++ with low-level programming experience.
• Familiarity with LLVM toolchain and performance analysis.

Responsabilités

• Extending LLVM-based compilers to support new hardware features.
• Designing and implementing optimization passes for xPU architectures.
• Investigating AI/ML approaches for auto‑tuning compiler optimisations.
• Analyzing performance of generated code.
• Collaborating with hardware teams to influence future silicon/software design.
