Role Purpose
The IT deployment lead will take the lead in delivering all key IT strategic new business wins as well as supporting key organic growth within the business.
- Lead / Manage the IT Deployment team to support project implementations, ensuring scope, quality, timelines, and budget are met.
- Identify and develop new IT solutions aligned with LLP EMEA IT / business Strategy and customer requirements.
- Lead IT activity during Solution Validation to ensure business requirements are met and IT Solution Design is aligned with standards and customer needs.
- Support project phases (Build, Technical Testing, UAT, implementation) to ensure scope and quality alignment.
- Drive standardization of IT / Business delivery processes for quicker project delivery.
- Provide strategic IT Deployment leadership for new customers and projects to foster digital innovation.
- Provide training and support for new team members and projects.
- Create best practice processes, documentation, and implement lessons learned for continuous improvement.
- Support System & Process improvements with integrated IT solutions by gathering requirements and selecting suppliers.
- Ensure IT services are delivered in line with operational and project scope, supporting the Regional IT Business Partner / IT SLT.
- Coordinate with IT Suppliers and Project Managers to meet project scope, budgets, and timelines.
Responsibilities
- Lead new LLP project implementations across EMEA.
- Oversee IT delivery during Solution Validation and subsequent project phases.
- Manage IT due diligence to ensure solutions fit business needs.
- Handle IT Change Management, support, and release management.
- Manage IT suppliers to deliver projects on time, scope, and budget.
- Support external customer relationships for business development and operations.
- Develop knowledge of systems to support operational best practices.
- Lead strategic IT account initiatives to drive digital innovation.
- Define requirements and facilitate creation of IT documentation and training.
Requirements for the job
Mandatory Requirements:
- Fluent in English.
- Experience in the logistics industry.
- At least 5 years in IT Service Management and people management (middle management desirable).
- Customer management skills.
- Change Management experience.
- IT literacy.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
Desirable Requirements:
- Technical knowledge of SDLC, TMS solutions (OTM), integration, and 3rd party SaaS solutions.
- Fluent in Polish and Spanish.
- Experience in Project/Implementation Management.
- Financial and commercial awareness.
- Product and supplier management skills.
- Solution design and stakeholder management experience.
- Negotiating and influencing skills.
