Join JPMorgan Chase, a global leader in financial services, as we revolutionize our operations with artificial intelligence and machine learning.

As a Software Engineer III within the AIML and Data Platforms (AMDP) team, you will tackle significant challenges in the financial sector and make a substantial impact. You will work alongside industry leaders to develop pioneering AI/ML capabilities that reinforce JPMC's industry leadership. Your role in the LLM Suite involves transforming early-stage code into production-ready solutions and creating innovative AI/ML solutions using public cloud architecture. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate generative AI into various applications is also key.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Develop innovative AI/ML solutions and agentic systems for the LLM Suite platform using Azure, AWS, and AI Agentic frameworks.
  2. Integrate with AWS Cloud Services for compute, storage, databases, and security, as well as the Azure ecosystem.
  3. Create solutions or tools to provision and monitor infrastructure for LLM and agentic systems.
  4. Utilize operational skills to recommend improvements for products, processes, or policies.
  5. Collaborate with the Product team to design, build, and deliver capabilities in agile sprints.
  6. Work with data scientists, software engineers, and designers in cross-functional teams.
  7. Develop and implement state-of-the-art GenAI services leveraging Azure OpenAI models and AWS Bedrock service.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and applicable experience.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or Rust).
  • Experience developing microservices using Python with FastAPI.
  • Commercial experience in backend and frontend engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud development, including EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, RDS Aurora MySQL & Postgres, DynamoDB, EMR, and Kinesis.
  • Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and neural networks.
  • Experience with containerized stacks using Kubernetes or ECS.
  • Knowledge of Single Sign-On/OIDC, OAuth, JWT/JWE/JWS.
  • Understanding of backend performance optimization and debugging.
  • Knowledge of AWS SageMaker and data analytics tools.
  • Proficiency in frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Familiarity with LangChain, Langgraph, or other Agentic Frameworks.
  • Python engineering experience.
  • Experience with React.
