The ideal KS2 Teacher will
  • Secure knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, particularly in core subjects.
  • Understanding of effective strategies for supporting transition between KS1 and KS2.
  • Familiarity with formative and summative assessment strategies.
  • Knowledge of strategies to challenge more able pupils as well as support those with additional needs.
  • Awareness of safeguarding and child protection procedures beyond statutory requirements.
Essential Compliance Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Proof of professional qualifications.
  • Satisfactory references covering the last 2 years.
