Job Title: Liverpool City Council – Safeguarding Service – Social Worker

Location: Liverpool

Pay Rate: £42

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join a Safeguarding service based in Liverpool Council.

What will your responsibilities be?
  1. Protecting Individuals from Harm: Ensure that vulnerable individuals, including adults and children, are protected from harm, abuse, and neglect.
  2. Recognising Signs of Abuse: Identify signs and symptoms of various types of abuse, including physical, emotional, sexual, and financial abuse.
  3. Conducting Assessments: Complete assessments under the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act, and undertake Section 42 (S42) Safeguarding Enquiries.
  4. Collaborating with Other Agencies: Work closely with other organizations and professionals to prevent and stop both the risks and experiences of abuse or neglect.
  5. Supporting Clients: Assist individuals and families in meeting some of life’s biggest challenges, empowering them to improve their lives.
  6. Maintaining Records: Keep accurate and detailed records using both manual and electronic systems.
  7. Balancing Safety and Choice: Balance the right to be safe with the right of the individual to make informed choices and to have their wellbeing promoted at all times.

Qualifications and Experience:
  1. Social Work England registration
  2. Eligible to work in the UK
  3. Hold a full UK license
  4. Post-qualified experience
  5. Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
