SEND Teacher Specialist Secondary Provision
Location: Liverpool
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £150 - £210 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-Term

This innovative and well-resourced setting focuses on personalised learning, promoting independence, life skills, and emotional development alongside academic achievement. Staff work closely in multidisciplinary teams to create a nurturing and structured environment tailored to each learner s individual needs.

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated SEND Teacher to join the team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of specialist education to make a lasting impact.

The role will involve:

• Planning and delivering bespoke, accessible lessons to students aged with a range of complex needs

• Differentiating teaching strategies and using assistive technology or alternative communication methods as needed

• Collaborating with support staff, therapists, and parents/carers to support holistic development

• Contributing to the development of EHCPs and individual learning plans

• Promoting independence, emotional wellbeing, and communication across all aspects of learning

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND, particularly SLD, PMLD, and ASC

• A nurturing, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching

• Knowledge of PECS, Makaton, sensory integration, or similar approaches is highly desirable

• A commitment to inclusive education and a genuine passion for working with vulnerable learners
