Job summary

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking Oliver McGowan Co-Trainers to join our Greater Manchester training programme. You will work alongside accredited Facilitating Trainers to deliver the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism to health and social care staff.

Your lived experience of autism and/or learning disability will help learners understand needs and challenges, and how person-centred care and effective communication improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Lived experience of autism or learning disability required.
• Ability to participate in training sessions and discussions.
• Commitment to person-centred care and inclusive practice.

Responsibilities

• Co-deliver the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training with Facilitating Trainers.
• Share lived experiences to help learners understand autism and learning disability.
• Support discussions and activities during training sessions.
• Contribute to feedback and development of the training programme.
