In addition to live streaming, Hobby Box LLC performs live signing events with professional athletes, at on and off-site locations. What began as an eBay account, has grown into a multi-location corporation. Our rookie streamers earn $18-$20 an hour, the seasoned streamers earn $25-$35 an hour, and the veteran streamers earn $40-$50 an hour. Our streamers also have the opportunity for paid time and a half overtime.

Job Summary:

We are seeking dynamic and charismatic Live Stream Sales/Auction Hosts to lead interactive live streams across our streaming platforms. In this role, you will present and auction sports-related items-including trading cards, memorabilia, and apparel to an enthusiastic online audience. You’ll be the face and voice of the brand during live streams, creating a fun, high-energy shopping experience that drives sales and builds our growing community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Host live stream sales and auction events with energy, charisma, professionalism, and product knowledge.
• Present, describe, and promote sports cards, memorabilia, and apparel in an engaging and informative manner.
• Interact with viewers in real time, answering questions and encouraging purchases.
• Prepare and organize items for upcoming live streams.
• Work with the production team to ensure quality lighting, sound, and visuals for each broadcast.
• Stay up to date with trends in the sports collectibles market.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in live streaming, sales, broadcasting, or customer-facing roles is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of sports (especially major leagues like NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL) and familiarity with collectibles or trading cards.
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Confident, energetic, and personable on camera.
• Ability to drive competition amongst an online room of buyers.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced, live broadcast environment.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and peak sales periods as needed.
