Job Description:

This fantastic job has just become available. This lovely family with two little girls aged 1 and 4 is relocating to the Streatham area and will need a nanny.

They have had two nannies previously and been very happy.

This is a full-time, permanent, live-out role with shorter hours on Friday. The hours are Monday to Thursday from 7:30 to 6:30, and Friday from 8 to 4. The start date is around August 10th. The family is willing to pay a good market rate.

The role will mainly involve caring for the 1-year-old, as the older girl will be in school. The nanny will drop off and pick up the older child. No driving is required, but it would be an advantage for easier school runs. The family has no pets, only two goldfish. Nursery duties are required, and travel on family holidays and occasional weekends is optional.

Important qualities for this family include reliability, punctuality, ability to plan, structure, and organize the girls' week. The nanny should engage the children kindly and lovingly, communicate well with the parents, and keep a nanny diary. The nanny has the freedom to run the girls' day while keeping the parents informed. Occasionally, a parent works in the home office, but the nanny is left to manage things in sole charge.

The family is currently based in Dorking, with trials held there. They will be at the new Streatham address when the role starts in August. Candidates should have experience as a sole charge nanny with this age group and have excellent, checkable references.

Requirements include an enhanced DBS police check (on the update system or less than a year old) and first aid certification. Candidates must be available for in-person interviews and trials in London. Only candidates with the right to work in the UK (share code) will be considered, as no sponsorship is available. All candidates must undergo comprehensive checks, including ID, police, right to work, proof of address, and reference checks, before being presented to clients.
