Live in Child-Friendly Housekeeper/Cook Job, Oxford

We have a fantastic opportunity to work for a family in their 5-bedroom home in Oxford. This is the perfect role for someone who likes to have their mornings off. The family is relaxed and informal, consisting of a mom, dad, and their two school-age children. They are looking for someone with high standards who can assist with the general upkeep of the home and help ensure that family life runs smoothly.

Duties to include:

  • Hands-on Housekeeping, Washing, and some Ironing (they will employ a cleaner to do the deep cleans).

  • Assisting with the children, mostly cooking meals for them.

  • School pick-ups for the daughter only, taking the children to activities, etc.

  • Cooking for children and parents is usually the same meal and some batch cooking for the family for the weekend.

  • Occasional shopping.

Requirements:

Driving essential, along with checkable references and experience working in private households in a similar position. You will be required to have a DBS at the offer stage.

Hours: Monday – Friday 2pm – 8pm

30 hours a week

Salary: £20-23 GPH £31,200 - £35,880

Starts: As soon as the right person is found.
