St Jude’s Care Ltd is seeking a dedicated Live-in Support Worker for Yeovil, Somerset, in a three-house supported living setting. You will provide person‑centred support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism, promoting independence and wellbeing while rotating across two‑week blocks.

The role is live‑in with a two‑week rotation, driving to placements, and a vehicle provided. A full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK are essential; training and ongoing support are

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities and autism is essential.
• Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Providing practical and emotional support in line with individual support plans
• Encouraging independence and supporting people to develop daily living skills
• Supporting individuals with routines, activities and community involvement
• Promoting positive communication and using appropriate support strategies
• Supporting individuals to manage their emotional wellbeing and behaviour positively
• Maintaining accurate records and working collaboratively with the wider care team
• Ensuring care is delivered in a safe, respectful and empowering way at all times
• Driving individuals to their day placements or activities
