Our client is an outgoing and independent individual passionate about sports, especially Powerchair Football, where he represents Sevenoaks and the England Development Squad. Living with Cerebral Palsy, he uses an electric wheelchair and values a supportive PA who can assist with personal care, daily tasks, and social activities while respecting his need for independence and privacy.
Written by him: I am a graduate Global Sports Journalism student from the University of East London. I am looking for a PA to help me with personal care and socialising.
My condition affects my day to day living in the following ways: I have Cerebral Palsy which causes my muscles to be stiff, so I need someone who is understanding and patient as it can take me longer to do things. I use an electric wheelchair as I cannot walk. I want to be as independent as possible, to get out and about to experience life. I have recently moved up north after being in London and I am keen to discover and explore the area.
My main hobby is sport. I take part in Powerchair Football, and currently represent Sevenoaks in the Premiership, and the England Development Squad. I will need someone who is able to drive me to training on Sundays and help me over weekends (5 times a year for league meetings in Nottingham).
I enjoy a wide variety of music, and I also enjoy playing video games. I love watching football and going to football matches, I'm a keen Chelsea fan. Football isn't the only sport I love watching though. Cricket, Rugby, Darts, there aren't many sports I won't watch!
This is a fantastic opportunity to truly make a positive difference to somebody else's life. To assist our client to achieve his goals and aspirations. Therefore, this job offers the prospect of meaningful job satisfaction.
We are looking for a positive, like-minded PA to assist our client with day-to-day living and general support as he transitions to the working world.
