We are currently seeking a Live-in or Live-out Nanny for a family based in Gloucestershire. This professional working couple have three children aged between 1 and 5 years old.

They have a 5 year old son who is obsessed with Dinosaurs and Rugby, a 3 year old daughter, who is always seen wearing a tutu, and a baby girl aged 12 months. In January another baby will be joining the family so the nanny in question must be happy looking after a busy household of FOUR children! Please note that the family will be employing a Maternity Nurse for the first 12 weeks.

The ideal candidate for this position will be very active, creative, highly organised, and had prior experience as a professional nanny with 3 or more children.

Duties will include, but are not limited too:

  • Assisting the parents with the school/nursery runs, dropping off and collecting the children as needed
  • Helping the eldest with their homework & reading (a knowledge of phonetics is a must!)
  • Creative play and having fun - playing outdoors, exploring the surrounding countryside with the children
  • Planning and organising activities/playdates. The children love the outdoors, and enjoy activities such as rugby, tennis, swimming, ballet, and jumping in puddles!
  • Cooking healthy and nutritious meals for the children
  • Buying groceries and running errands
  • Keeping track of anything needed for the children
  • Proxy parenting when parents are away including overnights and travelling on holiday with the family

During the school holidays there may be the opportunity for you to travel with the family, the family enjoy travelling around the UK and in Europe.

Preferred skills:

  • Flexible and willing to lend an extra pair of hands
  • Passionate about children's development and learning
  • Comfortable with both shared and sole charge

Confident driver is essential for this role (a car would be provided for business use).
