Live in or Live out Housekeeper/Cook in Wokingham, Berkshire

A lovely family is looking to hire an experienced all-rounder housekeeper to help with their five-bedroom house. The family has five children but only one lives at home. The other four children visit regularly with their partners and children so at times the house can be very busy. Completing the family are 2 pet dogs and a cat.

Duties include:

Cleaning

Laundry and ironing

Wardrobe management

Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch and occasionally dinner

Cooking and preparing meals

Looking after plants and flowers

Daily dog walking and pet sitting

Grocery shopping

Running errands as required

Liaising with contractors

The ideal candidate for this role will be fast learner, adaptable, trustworthy, honest, discreet, with high attention to details, pet friendly, family orientated, and a competent cook with a strong culinary background.

House: 5 bedrooms with 2 bedrooms in use

Accommodation: 2-bedroom apartment located approx. 5 min drive away until they move house in 2025, where there will be a 2-bedroom cottage within the grounds.

Days & Hours: 40 hours per week (flexibility is required); 8.30am to 5.30pm with an hour for lunch
