Job summary

Gumtree (Andover, Hampshire) is seeking a live-in Nanny-Housekeeper for a permanent, long-term role caring for a baby and managing household tasks. Accommodation is provided, and a work vehicle is available for work-related driving. Normal hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm, with 28 days of holiday.

The position requires warmth, reliability and strong English communication. Start is ASAP, salary £35,000–£40,000 gross per year, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Warm, caring and confident with children, including babies.
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently.
• Confident driver and able to cook simple meals.
• Comfortable with dogs and a non-smoker.
• Looking for a stable, long-term position.
• Good English, checkable references and UK right to work — no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Caring for the baby and providing attentive, responsible childcare.
• Helping with the older children when required.
• Driving and collecting the children when needed.
• General housekeeping and maintaining the home to a high standard.
• Cleaning, laundry and ironing.
• Preparing simple family meals.
• Unpacking and putting away shopping.
• Walking the family dog when required.
• Helping with other reasonable day-to-day household duties.
