Job summary

Gumtree is helping a family in Godalming, Surrey, to find a part-time nanny/housekeeper/cook to support their home. They are seeking someone who is organized, proactive and confident in balancing childcare with household tasks.

The children are aged 14 and 10, and a driver is essential. Hours are Wednesday and Thursday half days or one full day per week, with duties including school runs, meal preparation, light housekeeping and keeping the home tidy.

Qualifications

• Experience as nanny/housekeeper/cook in a family setting.
• Comfort with caring for older children (14 and 10) and routines.
• Full driving licence with clean record.
• Current Paediatric First Aid and Enhanced DBS are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and supervision for children as needed.
• Assist with school runs and children's activities.
• Support daily routines and meal preparation.
• Prepare simple, nutritious family meals.
• Assist with general housekeeping and laundry.
• Keep kitchen clean and organised.
• Tidy bedrooms and bathrooms; dust, vacuum and mop.
• Maintain orderly household spaces and stock supplies.
