Job Description:

Our clients, a young family residing between Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire and London, are seeking a live-in weekend Nanny for their 16-month-old daughter.

The ideal Nanny will be very upbeat, proactive, and warm-natured to keep their little one engaged and interested. You should be willing to roll up your sleeves, be forward-thinking, and independent.

A typical working weekend will start Friday at 11.00am and finish Monday PM. This position will be based solely in Oxfordshire, and you will only be required to live-in when the family is in residence.

Your role will include all general Nanny/nursery duties, along with:

  • Planning age-appropriate activities and outings
  • Sticking to the child’s structured routine
  • Setting soft boundaries with the child where appropriate
  • Light cooking/meal prep for the child

The family currently employs a Housekeeper who also works weekends, although you will be expected to keep the child’s room, bathroom, and wardrobe neat and tidy.

Both parents are present during weekends and are very hands-on with the child. As they are looking for someone to stay long-term, it is important that you are willing to be a team player and provide sole or shared charge when required.
