Live in Housekeeper/Cook Job in Northamptonshire

A client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a switched-on and organised housekeeper/cook for their estate in Northamptonshire. Duties to include cleaning, washing, and ironing as well as preparing good quality meals for the principal.

You would be working alongside 2 part-time housekeepers and other staff employed on the estate, meaning that this role would be suitable for someone who enjoys working in a team.

The principal also has a dog, so someone with dog experience would be great for this role.

Duties to include:
  • Hands-on housekeeping.
  • Keeping the property clean and tidy.
  • Laundry and ironing duties.
  • Preparing meals to a high standard, using local and fresh produce.
  • Other ad hoc duties as and when required.
  • Organising grocery orders, taking deliveries etc.
  • A driver is required for this role.

The ideal candidate would have extremely high attention to detail and would have had experience working in private households with checkable references.

Accommodation: Separate cottage

Working hours: 40 hours a week, with days off during weekdays.

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Start: As soon as the right person is found.
