An experienced and proactive Full-time Live-in Housekeeper is needed by a family in Romsey, Hampshire, focusing on maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organisation throughout the residence with 6 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, over 3 floors. While there are no formal cooking or childcare duties at the start of the placement, the family is looking for a forward-thinking professional who can grow with them; flexibility to assist with light meal prep or simple cooking in the coming months would be a significant advantage. Additionally, with a new baby, the ideal candidate will be naturally child-friendly and comfortable working in a busy family environment. All general housekeeping duties are required in this role.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Accommodation: Annex with separate kitchen, double bedroom and bathroom

Duties include:

• loading the dishwasher/doing the dishes
• dusting furniture
• freshening the rooms
• doing the laundry and ironing of the family
• dusting
• hoovering the carpets and floors
• ensuring all bedrooms are always clean
• polishing floor
• preparing and cooking simple yet healthy and delicious meals for the family
• running some errands for the family such as doing grocery shopping for the family’s supplies and paying bills
