Job description

A busy family are looking for a friendly, experienced and proactive Gardener/all-rounder to join them on their country farm in Surrey. You will be required to work Thursday to Monday. This a relaxed yet semi-formal household requires a switched-on individual who is organised and manages their time efficiently. A love of dogs is essential, as pet care is part of the role.

Duties:
• Gardening for a large garden, including the use of a ride on lawnmower
• Care of courtyards and surrounding areas to the main house
• Interior and exterior maintenance, DIY projects as needed
• Chauffeuring duties, as and when required
• Care of the family vehicles
• Pet sitting when the family travel
• Security of the property
• Helping at parties and with any heavier work
• Running local errands

Candidate requirements
• Must be a mature, responsible Gardener with previous experience in a similar role
• Highly skilled with machines, proficient in DIY, experienced with ride-on lawnmowers and large garden maintenance
• Must be helpful, organised and possess a strong work ethic, with excellent communication skills
• Confident driver with clean driving license
• Non-smoker
• Must be dog-friendly and willing to care for pets
• The family requires 5 years of contactable references

• You will be provided with a lovely 1-bedroom cottage (furnished/unfurnished) which is separate from the main house.
• The accommodation includes a private garden and parking
