Exclusive Household Staff is seeking a Live-Out Housekeeper / Cook for a six-bedroom Georgian estate in Berkshire. The role involves daily housekeeping, family cooking, and maintaining a well-organised home on a 150+ acre estate.

The position offers a friendly team and an informal environment with a long-term, varied workload. Start date is flexible and weekend coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous private household or high-standard housekeeping experience.
• Confident family cooking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Trustworthy, discreet, proactive and flexible.
• Animal-friendly, as there are dogs on the estate.
• Excellent, checkable references; verbal references will be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Daily housekeeping and upkeep of a six-bedroom, eight-bathroom property.
• Occasional deep cleaning and care of artwork, antiques and delicate furnishings.
• Family laundry, ironing and wardrobe care.
• Preparing fresh, wholesome family meals, making use of produce from the kitchen garden and orchard.
• Maintaining household supplies and ensuring the home is well organised.
• Occasional light gardening, if of interest.

Salary: Circa £40,000 GPA dependent on experience
Working Schedule: 5 days per week, typically 08:00–17:00, with weekend flexibility
