Job summary

Medicare People is seeking a dedicated Live-in Carer in Woking to provide tailored care in clients' homes. You will support independence, comfort and wellbeing, while building meaningful relationships with clients and their families.

We offer consistent placements across Woking, flexible assignments from 4 days to 8 weeks, free training, a 24/7 support team, and a pension scheme. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Experience providing care or support to others.
• A compassionate and patient nature.
• Confidence supporting clients on a one-to-one basis.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• The ability to adapt to changing needs and situations.
• Reliability, professionalism and a positive attitude.
• A commitment to delivering outstanding care.
• Experience working independently.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Experience with medication support is desirable.
• Previous live-in care experience is welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support clients to live independently in their own homes
• Provide high-quality person-centred care
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and personal hygiene
• Offer companionship and emotional reassurance
• Help with mobility and everyday activities
• Prepare meals and support healthy hydration
• Administer medication safely and accurately
• Help maintain a clean, comfortable home environment
• Complete shopping and other essential errands
• Monitor changes in wellbeing and report concerns
• Maintain clear and accurate care notes
• Work collaboratively with families and the wider care team
