Job summary

Government of Jersey is seeking a dedicated live-in carer to support islanders in their own homes on Jersey. You will work as part of a friendly, Jersey-based team delivering compassionate care in residents' familiar surroundings.

The role involves assisting with personal care, medications, light housekeeping, and accompanying clients to appointments, while offering companionship and reassurance throughout the day and in the evenings.

Qualifications

• You will need a caring, reliable and compassionate nature.
• You should be confident working in a client’s home.
• A valid driving license is required.
• Demonstrated experience in home care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supporting with personal care.
• Assisting with medication.
• Helping with light household tasks.
• Accompanying clients to appointments.
