Job summary

Abbots Care in Windsor is seeking a dedicated Live-In Carer to support a client with a spinal injury. You will handle day-to-day tasks, meals, laundry, cleaning and personal care in the comfort of the home.

The role requires a driver with a full UK license, empathy, patience and a calm, reassuring approach. You will join a supportive team, receive ongoing training, clinical supervision and the opportunity to deliver person-centred care.

The schedule is a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off cycle.

Qualifications

• Driver with a full UK license and own vehicle is mandatory.
• Friendly, chatty and a good listener.
• Kind, patient and compassionate.
• Calm and reassuring in busy moments, especially when supporting mobility.
• Experienced in supporting the elderly and live-in care is preferred.
• Reliable and able to work confidently and independently.

Responsibilities

• Help with meals, laundry, cleaning and other household duties.
• Provide day-to-day care and support to the client.
• Monitor wellbeing and communicate any concerns to the care team.
