Job summary

Draycott Nursing & Care in Windsor is seeking a female live-in carer to support one client. You will live with the client for the duration of your rota, with shifts ranging 10-12 hours daily and breaks arranged as needed.

Applicants should have proven experience in mental health care, complex needs, and confidence with manual handling. A full UK driving licence is required; focus on safety and compassionate, person-centred care.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in mental health care and working with challenging behaviours (essential).
• Experience supporting individuals with complex needs, including spinal injuries or similar conditions.
• Confident and competent in manual handling techniques (essential).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Resilient, patient, and empathetic personality.
• Willingness to work in a challenging environment and provide consistent, person-centred care.
