Job summary

Prestige Nursing & Care Norwich is seeking a Live-in Carer to support a client with a spinal injury at their home. You will live with the client, provide ongoing care, assist with daily tasks and monitor wellbeing under the supervision of our branch team.

We require experience with autonomic dysreflexia, cough assist, medication administration, and catheter/stoma care. Driver preferred but not essential; DBS/PVG and Right to Work checks will be carried out.

Qualifications

• Live-in care experience is required.
• Experience with spinal injury care including autonomic dysreflexia, cough assist, and medication administration.
• Experience with suprapubic catheter, stoma care and hoists is essential.
• Enhanced DBS/PVG checks, Right to Work, references and employment history checks will be undertaken.

Responsibilities

• Provide live-in care in the client's home.
• Support with daily living activities and personal care.
• Monitor health and escalate concerns to the branch team.
• Administer medications as prescribed and follow care plans.
