Job summary

Carefound Home Care is seeking a Live-In Care Assistant to work in local Cheshire, Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire areas. You will live in the client’s home for the duration of your chosen rota (e.g., 1–6 weeks) and support with daily living and well-being.

The role offers high weekly pay (£789–£1,021), choice of work patterns (2, 4, or 6 weeks), and benefits including travel expenses paid, accommodation and food, and career progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of professional live-in care experience.
• Experience as a care assistant or support worker in domiciliary or residential care is acceptable.
• Driver's licence and own car helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

As a Live-In Care Assistant, you'll live in your client's home for the duration of your chosen rota pattern (e.g. 1 - 6 weeks) to support them to live with well-being. You'll need to be warm, patient and compassionate with a positive ‘can do’ attitude. Your role will include:

• Providing companionship
• Supporting with personal care
• Helping with mobility and staying active
• Assisting with medication or specialist needs
• Helping around the home with housekeeping and cooking
• Running errands such as shopping or picking up prescriptions
• You’ll need a smartphone to use our app

We require you to have at least 12 months’ professional care experience as a live in carer, domiciliary carer, care assistant, support worker, personal healthcare assistant or similar. A driving licence and your own car is helpful but not a requirement.
