Job summary

Carefound Home Care is hiring Live-In Care Assistants to support clients in local areas including Cheshire, Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire. You’ll live in the client’s home for a rota pattern of 1–6 weeks, delivering companionship, personal care and practical support with housing duties.

The role offers days with multiple work pattern choices, paid travel expenses, and a comprehensive employment package including holidays and pension. No sponsorship is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of professional care experience in live-in, domiciliary care, care assistant, support worker or similar.
• Driving licence helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and personal care.
• Assist with mobility and staying active.

• Help around the home with housekeeping and cooking.

As a Live-In Care Assistant, you'll live in your client's home for the duration of your chosen rota pattern (e.g. 1 - 6 weeks) to support them to live with well-being. You'll need to be warm, patient and compassionate with a positive ‘can do’ attitude. Your role will include:

• Running errands such as shopping or picking up prescriptions
• You’ll need a smartphone to use our app

We require you to have at least 12 months’ professional care experience as a live in carer, domiciliary carer, care assistant, support worker, personal healthcare assistant or similar. A driving licence and your own car is helpful but not a requirement.
