As a Live-in Carer, you will work in one household, typically with one or two clients during the specified shift pattern below. You will become part of the family and daily life, with responsibilities ranging from companionship and personal care to managing complex care needs and medications.

Your role as a Live-in Carer is vital in helping clients stay independent, enjoy fulfilling lives, and providing peace of mind to their families that their loved ones are safe and well.

Our clients will depend on you for support with all aspects of daily living. If you are dedicated and passionate about making a positive impact, this role could be ideal for you.

Minimum requirements to work with Nurseplus as a Female Live-in Carer:

  • The ability to build strong relationships and a personable nature
  • At least six months' UK-based care experience
  • A commitment to caring for vulnerable people
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • An enhanced DBS check will be required
  • Confidentiality is essential due to the nature of the role
  • Drivers are preferred, given client locations

Placements typically range from 2 to 12 weeks with the same client, depending on needs and flexibility. Examples of working patterns include:

  • 2 weeks on / 1 week off (35 weeks per year, with 17 weeks off)
  • 12 weeks on / 1 week off (48 weeks per year)
